Referred to as the family jewel of Costa Rica, the Occidental Allegro Papagayo is a wonderfully located 4 star all inclusive with fantastic views over the Gulf of Papagayo. There are 3 types of rooms; the Superior room has 1 king or 2 queen beds, a balcony, mini bar and AC. The Superior Ocean View has the same but with a panoramic ocean view. The Superior Premium Ocean Views are located near the pool and beach and have the best ocean views on the property.

There are numerous water sport activities available at the hotel from snorkeling to scuba diving lessons in the pool. There is also a gym, daily workouts, kids club, evening entertainment, night club and sports bar plus much, much more. The hotel also boasts its own private beach club which is a tropical paradise all on its own!!

'The pool at the resort was huge and centered around a great swim up bar where cocktails are constantly flowing. The food in the buffet was great with a lot of choice and different themes each night, try the Italian restaurant!! The entertainment at night I am surprised to say was great and everybody joined in. A great resort for all and lots to do. The private beach club was fabulous.’
