The Azania resort consists of several bungalows that lie in the Cocles Beach. The Cocles Beach has been awarded the Costa Rica Blue Flag which is only handed out to the cleanest of beaches across Costa Rica by the government. The beach is located a little under a mile from Puerto Viejo which is situated on the South Caribbean coast.

The thatched bungalows are constructed in an unique style that compromises of traditional building materials alongside natural woods and palm leaves that make up the roof. They only lie a stone throws a way from the ocean front and are surrounded by exotic tropical forest. Each bungalow is tastefully decorated with a surprising

amount of space to roam in and are privately secluded by the magnificently beautiful gardens. They can easily accommodate up to 4 people comfortably in a queen bed and 2 full sized beds. Bamboo lamps, decorative furniture pieces, ceiling fans, large windows and high ceilings all add to a relaxing atmospheric feeling. The bungalows also provide protection from mosquito's with provided nets. Other beneficiaries include a mini bar, a security box and a sauna style bathroom.

Relaxing at the bungalow couldn't be easier with it's own private deck featuring its own hammock, there are many wonderful captivating sites to be taken in such as the exotic gardens, the tropical jungle, the beautiful birds, butterflies and other wondrous wildlife that live in the nearby surroundings or simply just gaze at the stars at night beneath the moonlight.

The bungalows aren't the only places you can relax and unwind, the free-form swimming pool surrounded by the tropical rainforest offers a great place to lounge about poolside in between the odd refreshing dip in the pool. The sculptured waterfall that connects with the jacuzzi also offers a different place to loosen up and if you don't fancy something that's wet, how about enjoying a romantic candlelight dinner accompanied with exotic cocktails from the Quincho style rancho. The restaurant offers the possibility of enjoying Argentinean dishes mixed in with local flavours of Puerto Viejo for a truly exclusive experience not to be found anywhere else.

The reception building, with architecture that adapts and blends into the natural rainforest surroundings, offers a fantastic information centre where helpful staff are on hand to help you learn more about other activities and entertainment within the area.
