Pachira
Lodge in Tortuguero is the areas newest Lodge and
offers guests some of the most scenic waterways,
flora and fauna in the world, not to mention the
turtles that are here every year to lay their eggs.
The property is 14 hectares in total and the network
of canals that runs through the area is great for
seeing wildlife. Situated just across the river
from the main town and 5 minutes from the National
Park entrance there is no better hotel to lodge
at while in Tortuguero.
All
of the comfortable rooms feature a private bathroom,
hot water and ceiling fans. High quality, buffet-style
meals are included. Tortuguero is the most important
nesting site in the western half of the Caribbean
for the endangered green turtle (Chelonia Midas).
