The Sanctuary Resort is a paradise if you are looking for seclusion and relaxation. The hotel is situated on 80 acres of pristine Costa Rican land and rainforest. The hotel is beach front and the beach is 1.2 miles in length and has a dark blue tint to it, hence why the Tico's (Costa Rican's) call it Playa Azul. The nearest town is called Nosara and is a small Costa Rican town with around 3,000 people living there.

'The staff at the resort have to be some of the best in the country. Seeing a black sanded volcanic beach was great as we had never seen one before. The rooms at the resort were well decorated and offered some great views and sunsets. The food in the restaurant was good and the chef will cook you whatever you want.'
