Day 1: Fly to the San Jose International airport (SJO). As soon as you step off the aircraft you will be met by one of our representatives, where your itinerary will be explained and any questions you have will be answered. The representative will provide you with a pouch that contains vouchers and information about your trip. From the airport you will be privately transported to Grano de Oro. Grano de Oro is only 15 minutes from the airport and is situated in a quiet San Jose neighborhood not far from the center of town. The restaurant at the Grano de Oro is internationally known as one of the best restaurants in Costa Rica and Central America. With this and inclusion into the small distinctive hotels of Costa Rica, Grano de Oro is by far one of Costa Rica's finest hotels.

Day 2: Take a private transfer to Arenal, stay at the Arenal Paraiso in a Superior Private Bungalow with views of the Volcano. Relax in the thermally heated swimming pool and take a drink in the hot spring fed wet bar.

Day 3: Wake up and get ready to explore all that Arenal has to offer. Take an Observation Hike of the volcano with a guide who will point animals and plants of interest, finish the guided tour reaching a vantage point over the volcano where you are able to watch the lava flow. After this relax and soothe your muscles in the natural mineral hot springs of the Tabacon Resort and enjoy a buffet dinner at the resort. If the sky is clear you will be able to have a direct glowing view of the volcano while sitting in the hot springs, it does not get better than this. Stay at the Arenal Paraiso.

Day 4 : In the morning be ready to explore the boarder between Costa Rica and Nicaragua, take a Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge Tour. At the Caño Negro Nature Preserve, you can expect to see 40 species of birds, caiman, sloth´s , bats, turtles, lizards, monkeys and iguanas on an average day. Located near the small town of Los Chiles, it’s (3 miles) from the Nicaraguan border. The tour begins with a 90 minute drive through some of Costa Rica’s richest farmland. Then you’ll board a comfortable covered motor launch on the Rio Frio. Frequent sightings include three types of monkeys, bats, and two types of sloth, iguanas, “Jesus Christ” lizards, turtles, caimans, mammals and diverse species of flora and lowland birds. Stay at the Arenal Paraiso.

Day 5: Take a 4x4 and boat transfer across Lake Arenal to Monteverde famous for the Monteverde Cloud Forest. Stay at Hotel El Establo. Set on a private 150 acres farm (50% protected primary forest) adjacent to the Monteverde Reserve great views and an abundance of wildlife awaits.

Day 6: Take a sky walk tour of the Monteverde Cloud Forest. You will have the opportunity to explore the forest canopy in a safe and easy manner, walking a simple trail system through the tropical jungle featuring seven suspension bridges that crisscross deep canyons at the level of treetops. The longest bridge is 656 feet in length. Stay at Hotel El Establo.

Day 7: Take a private transfer to Manuel Antonio, stay at Hotel Si Como No.

Day 8: Free day to rest and absorb the sun, maybe take a White Water Rafting Tour, ATV Tour or do some sports fishing. Stay at Hotel Si Como No.

Day 9: Take a Canopy Tour and play Tarzan!!! Sail through the treetops of the tropical rainforest canopy and over the trails far below. Experts guides will lead you in this exciting adventure into the heart of the rainforest, explaining what is going on around you. From the 9 exhilarating zip lines to the 3 pulse pounding repel lines you are guaranteed a thrilling adventure. Stay at Hotel Si Como No.

Day 10: Transfer to Manuel Antonio Airstrip and take a flight to Palma Sur. Then take a boat transfer to the Aguila de Osa, set in the last natural frontier in Costa Rica. If you want to see Costa Rica in its raw eco form then you are in the right place. There are numerous packages available as part of the stay at Aguila de Osa, you can choose from the Whale and Dolphin Interaction, Jungle Package and Standard Package. This journey takes you on the Jungle package.

Day 11: Take as part of the package a tour of Caño Island. You will get to snorkel around the island and see a variety of marine life, then take a hike to the Rangers Station on the Island through the untamed Jungle.

Your tour to Caño Island includes ample time to snorkel in front of the ranger station. This will provide snorkelers with an excellent opportunity to familiarize yourself with the underwater terrain and sea life surrounding Caño Island. The dark, volcanic rock is home to numerous species of marine life, much of which you'll see just a short swim from the beach. As well, you'll have time for a relatively short hike, which begins just behind the ranger station. After an initial climb, the trail tapers off and remains rather flat throughout the remainder of your hike. Caño Island is not know for its prolific wildlife, however, the Park does have rodents, crustaceans, amphibians, birds, lizards, and insects. As well, there are archeological remains on the island, which can be found at the very end of one of the island's trails. Small, completely round spheres can be observed, which is believed date back to the days when the island was inhabited by indians.

Day 12: Take a tours as part of the package of Corcovado National Park which is renown for its rich diversity and spectacular scenery. Common sightings at either of the ranger stations include scarlet macaws, monkeys, pecaries, iguanas, sloth's, lizards, and a wide variety of plants, amphibians and insects. Once finished at the ranger station feel free to follow the trials and as many lead to waterfalls great for bathing. Stay at Aguila de Osa.

Day 13: Relax on the beach or explore some of the trails that lie on the property of the Aguila.

Day 14: Time to leave Paradise and start your journey back home. Take a boat transfer to the Local Airport and fly back to San Jose. Stay at Hotel Alta and be surrounded by the beauty of the Central Valley.

Day 15: Privately transfer to San Jose international airport and have a safe flight home.
