Day
1: Fly to the San Jose International airport
(SJO). As soon as you step off the aircraft you
will be met by one of our representatives, where
your itinerary will be explained and any questions
you have will be answered. The representative will
provide you with a pouch that contains vouchers
and information about your trip. From the airport
you will be privately transported to Hotel
Alta in the hills over the Central Valley in
Santa Ana. This hotel will offer you a great nights
sleep on your first night in Costa Rica. You will
awake in the morning, step out onto your terraced
balcony and have panoramic views of the Central
Valley and if the day is clear (which it normally
is), you can see the 3 volcanoes surrounding the
Central Valley.
Day
2: Arise early to catch your private, air
conditioned micro bus to San Jose Airport, from
here you will take an internal flight across to
Tambor on the Nicoya Peninsula, where you will then
be transported to the beautiful Hotel of Tango Mar.
This wonderful hotel is located on a 150 acre private
beach front reserve, and offers all the comfort
and feel of a small, boutique hotel, yet has all
the space necessary to always have the option of
finding a small space away from the world to relax
and enjoy the sun! What more could you possibly
want! Once you arrive feel free to take the rest
of the day to settle in, relax and maybe explore
some of the area.
Day
3: Take your time to wake up and enjoy
a marvelous breakfast this morning. Today is your
first full day in paradise so make sure to make
full use of it. The day is yours to do as you please,
and there is plenty to keep you occupied. Firstly
there's the stunning beach which stretches for miles
in either direction, perfect for catching some sun
or going for a walk. There are also plenty of organized
tours in the are which can be booked from the hotel
reception. These include ATV tours of the area,
surf lessons, horseback riding and much more. You
may wish however to just find a nice quiet spot
in the sun by the superb hotel pool and relax in
the company of a good book and a cocktail, and who
could blame you, it is your holiday after all! Stay

Day
4-5: These next 2 days are yours to use
a you please. Feel free to spend some time on the
beach, take some of the tours mentioned above or
again just relax and enjoy the sun! Stay at Tango
Mar

6 : You can take your time and get over
your jet-lag as there is no rush, the volcano is
not going anywhere!! After a leisurely breakfast
you will be private transported from San Jose up
to the majestic Volcano of Arenal. This volcano
is active and erupts on average every 48 minutes
so you are in for some sounds you have not heard
before, but do not worry it is safe. You will dropped
off at La
Mansion Arenal hotel where you will have you
own private cottage on Lake Arenal. The sunsets
at this hotel are formidable and the colors in the
sky range from reds to purples. Enjoy a relaxing
evening and some fine dining at the restaurant and
bar. The hotel special currently only available
to us is if you stay 3 nights
the 4th is free.
Day
7: Get ready for the time of your
life as you hit the rapids of the Rio Toro
in your own guided White Water rafting adventure.
You will be picked up early from your hotel,
and transported to the put in up the river.
Here you will receive your safety briefing,
meet a few new people and have breakfast before
taking the plunge! The river is great for
both beginners and experienced rafters alike,
with plenty of action on the class III &
IV rapids. You will be on the water for 4-5
hours, stopping for refreshments on the river
bank along the way. Time permitting you may
also stop for a swim at one of the calm spots.
At the end of the tour you will transported
back to the lodge where you had breakfast
for a big meal and to check out the photos
before heading back to your hotel. Stay at
La Mansion Arenal.
Day
8 & 9: These next 2 days are
your free for you to org anise some adventure
tours or relax in the Jacuzzi or the pool
after your exertions on the river yesterday.
Lake Arenal offers some good kayaking, wind
surfing and also Bass fishing. There are tours
available from the hotel and we suggest a
tour of the Venando Caverns or the Caño
Negro Wildlife Refuge Tour. Stay at La
Mansion Arenal.
Day
10: Wake up early, enjoy your breakfast
and get ready for some more relaxation as
your board your private transfer across to
one of Costa Rica's premier beach locations,
Manuel Antonio. Here you will be staying and
the simply magnificent Hotel
Si Como No. Nestled on a ledge above the
beautiful, blue Pacific Ocean, Hotel Si Como
No really is a place of peace and outstanding
beauty. The views are some of the best in
the world of the Pacific Ocean and it really
isn't hard to see why! The views don't stop
there however, as between this great hotel,
which is regarded by many as being the best
hotel in Ute area, is the stunning National
Park, which is simply teeming with wildlife
to discover. The rest of the day is yours
to spend as you wish, maybe a trip down to
the beach and a meal at one of the fabulous
restaurants in the area before catching an
early night.
Day
11: With so much to see and
do in the area its best to hit the ground
running this morning, and what better way
to start than a guided tour of the wonderful
national park. Your expert, highly knowledgeable
guide, who will be fluent in both English
and Spanish will walk you around the park,
pointing out animals and plants of interest,
such as white faced monkeys, iguanas, Toucans
and much more. Don't forget to take your camera
as there will be hundreds of great shots to
take on your way round. In the afternoon why
not take a time out and hit the beach for
some sun and relaxation. Stay at Hotel Si
Como No
Day
12: Today get ready for some real
fun as you take an ATV tour of the area. You
will hop on one of the superb 4 wheeled all
terrain vehicles and wizz off in to the rainforest,
where your guides will point out places of
interest and take you on a wild adventure,
prepare to get wet and muddy as you hit some
exhilarating dirt tracks along the way. The
rest of the day is yours to use as you please.

Day
13: Today is your final day at this
great beach destination, so what better way
to use it, than to spend some time on the
beach catching some sun. However, if you prefer
why not take another of the great tours in
the area. There is still plenty to do, with
sunset sailing tours and horseback riding
to name but a couple. Stay at Hotel Si Como
No.
Day
14: Say goodbye to the beach and
the wonderful hotel of Si Como No as you board
your final transfer back to San Jose where
it all began, and the Hotel Alta. This is
your last night in Costa Rica so make sure
to use it wisely. You may wish to go out for
a special meal at one of the superb restaurants
in the area, or simply relax in the Hotel
and enjoy each others company. Stay at Hotel
Alta.
Day
15: Time to head Home. You will be
met at your hotel by your private transfer
which will take you to San Jose International
Airport from where you will fly home!
