Day
1: Fly to the San Jose International airport
(SJO). As soon as you step off the aircraft you
will be met by one of our representatives, where
your itinerary will be explained and any questions
you have will be answered. The representative will
provide you with a pouch that contains vouchers
and information about your trip. From the airport
you will be privately transported to Peace
Lodge. The hotel is situated in the mountains
near the La Paz waterfall gardens about 1 hour north
of San Jose and the International Airport. Each
room has an open log fire and spectacular views
of the surrounding mountains and rainforest. The
hotel has been voted one of the best in the country
and with the jacuzzi on the balcony and the in room
waterfalls, the Peace Lodge offers a unique stay
in paradise. |
Day
2: Stay at Peace Lodge and relax in front
of the fire or in the jacuzzi and experience all
that Peace Lodge has to offer. We would highly suggest
visiting the famous La Paz waterfall gardens where
you can see a wide array of Costa Rican butterflies
and hummingbirds, as well as some fantastic waterfalls |
Day
3: After breakfast take a private transfer
to the luxury La
Mansion Arenal. The hotel is situated above
the man made lake Arenal and has luxury private
cottages with views over the lake and tropical gardens.
Spend the afternoon relaxing in the comfort of your
private cottage.
Day
4: After lunch take an Observation
Hike of the volcano with a guide who will point
animals and plants of interest, finish the guided
tour reaching a vantage point over the volcano where
you are able to watch the lava flow. After this
relax and soothe your muscles in the natural mineral
hot springs of the Tabacon Resort and enjoy a buffet
dinner at the resort. Spend the night admiring the
Arenal volcano as it glows in the Costa Rica moonlight.

Day
5 : Spend the day as you wish, maybe organise
a tour to the volcano area, go white water rafting,
do a canopy tour. |
Day
6 : After breakfast you will transported
to the local airport and take a flight to the Nicoya Peninsula.
Once you have arrived in the Nicoya Peninsula, you will be met by a representative and taken, via private air conditioned microbus, to the luxury resort of Punta Islita, living in the lap of luxury. Spend time relaxing by the pool, or on the private and very secluded Pacific beach. |

Day
7- 9: Spend the next few days enjoying the beautiful weather, relaxing on the beach, taking in the sun with a cocktail in one hand and a good book in the other, or for those of you who are more active, why not try out some of the great tours available in the area. The hotel will be more than happy to help you pick out the tours most suitable for you, and book them for you, all you need to do is get yourself ready for some fun!
Day
10: Transfer to Nicoya Airstrip and
take an afternoon flight to San Jose. Privately
transfer to the Intercontinental and spend your last night in comfort dining in some
of the best restaurants in Costa Rica.
Day
11 : Privately transfer to San Jose international
airport and have a safe flight home. |
