Costa
Rica offers some of the worlds best Sportfishing
and holds some of the big game records. Thousands
of people travel the world to try their hand at
the Marlin fishing. Most of the year round the warm
waters of the Pacific offer some of the biggest
Marlin that fishing has to offer. What better than
to go back home saying that you caught a 150lb Marlin
or cooking the Tuna on the BBQ!!
The
Northern Pacific Area of Tamarindo offers some of
the best and most active fishing in Costa Rica.
The area is well known for record breaking Marlin
and sometimes people will pull out over 30 sailfish
in one day. Many always dream of fishing for the
big game fish however here in Tamarindo this really
does become a reality. Randy Wilson your captain
has made Costa Rica his home and has pioneered fishing
in the Tamarindo and Guanacaste region. Due to the
location of Tamarindo it offers the shortest journey
to the deep seas where all the big game fish lie. |
The
Boat:
Talking Fish, our
38' Topaz Express, powered by twin Detroit turbo
diesels, is fully equipped with quality Penn and
Shimano tackle, depth sounders and G.P.S. Comfortably
seating 6 persons in the shade, it features a large
cockpit with fighting chair. The cabin has a V-berth
and a private head with separate shower. All safety
gear is provided.
Half days are 5 hours
and include a snack. Full days are 9 hours and include
a complete box lunch. Beers, soft drinks and bottled
water are provided on all charters, as well as bait
and ice. On board tackle is 20 to 130 pound. Please
bring your own ultra light and fly tackle. Full
days are recommended for offshore bill fishing.
