Dec 26: Fly to the San Jose International airport (SJO). As soon as you step off the aircraft you will be met by one of our representatives, where your itinerary will be explained and any questions you have will be answered. The representative will provide you with a pouch that contains vouchers and information about your trip. From the airport you will be privately transported to the Arenal Volcano area. Your transfer will be just yourselves and a private English speaking driver. Feel free to stop on the way and look at the waterfalls, stop for lunch or dinner or to stretch your legs. One you arrive in the Arenal area you will be checked into La Mansion Arenal, one of Arenal's most luxurious and exclusive hotel situated on Lake Arenal!!. Stay in a Junior Suite!!

Dec 27: Wake up to hummingbirds zip about in the tropical gardens of La Mansion Arenal. There is no better way to spend Christmas than in paradise!! Open the windows and see that lake and mountain view, the air does not get any fresher than the Costa Rican mountains. Today is a day to relax as it will be your first clear and empty day in Costa Rica. After a filling breakfast relax in the hammock and read a book or go for a walk in the gardens and through the rainforest.

Dec 28: Today is the day for that bit of Volcano Adventure that Arenal is famous for. You will be picked up and transported to the Rio Arenal, one of Costa Rica's most beautiful rivers and great for beginners looking for some white water rafting action!!! You will spend the day fighting the current through the rainforest and will hopefully have the opportunity to see lots of Costa Rica wildlife!! Relax in the evening with a good bottle of wine and some great food.

Dec 29: If you want you can org anise an Arenal Observation Hike with a rest in the Natural Hot Springs of the Tabacon resort afterwards then this a highly suggested day tour. The guide will take you up the Arenal Volcano through the rainforest to the observation point where you will see the lava flow. Then after this you will transported to the volcanically heated mineral pools of the Tabacon. If not just relax and enjoy the day, there is plenty to do in the general area as well as some visits to some local Costa Rican mountain towns!!

Dec 30 : Wake up as today you will be hitting some of Central America's most beautiful beaches!! You will take a private transfer after breakfast to the luxury Villas Cala Luna. Villa Cala Luna is one of Tamarindo's most luxurious hotels and is rated one of the best in the area. You will have one of their Deluxe Rooms which has a great king bed and bathroom with a nice terrace area to relax at.

Dec 31 - Jan 2: Spend New Years either in town or at the Cala Luna, I am sure that some form of Salsa dancing with be tried on this night!! On the other days feel free to relax or check out the tours that are available in Tamarindo. Jan 3: As with all good things they must come to and end. You will be privately transported to the Local airstrip to take a flight back to San Jose. On the way back you will be bale to see the Costa Rican Coast as you fly south towards San Jose, also watch out and see if you can see Arenal!! Once you arrive into San Jose you will be transported to Hotel Alta to spend your last night in comfort in the Hollywood hills of Central America.
