Description – Laguna Lodge is a rain forest ecotourism lodge. It is known as a leader among Costa Rica’s holiday destinations with an extra touch in style, comfort and personalized service. The lodge itself lies on an exclusive, narrow strip of land, with the Caribbean sea on one side, and the Tortuguero Lagoon on the other. The lodge offers 1, 2 or 3 day stays, with packages including, transportation, meals, naturalist guides, tours to the Tortuguero National Park and canals, the turtle museum and Caribbean Conservation Corporation, and more. There are also additional activities, such as fishing trips, kayaking ,etc.

The lodge includes 80 standard rooms, all with their own view of the gardens or the forest that surrounds. The rooms themselves include, private bathrooms, hot water, ceiling fan, reading lamps and wooden benches outside to allow you to sit and admire the gardens.

The open air restaurant, located in front of the Lagoon, provides beautiful views of the surrounding forest. The restaurant provides meals in a buffet style, with a selection of fresh tropical fruits and vegetables to choose from. Tea, coffee and cookies are also available 24 hours a day.
