Pacuare White Water RaftingDay 1: Fly to the San Jose International airport (SJO). As soon as you step off the aircraft you will be met by one of our representatives, where your itinerary will be explained and any questions you have will be answered. The representative will provide you with a pouch that contains vouchers and information about your trip. From the airport you will be privately transported to the Grano de Oro Hotel. The hotel is situated only 10 minutes from the international airport in downtown San Jose and is well positioned for the restaurants and bars of San Jose. The hotel has views of the City and surrounding areas.


Day 2: Get ready for a 2 adrenaline packed white water rafting experience on one of the top 5 white water rafting rivers of the world, the Rio Pacuare. Once at the river, you’ll raft 16 miles deep in the heart of densely vegetated gorges, past gushing waterfalls, serene pools and pounding rapids, in one of Costa Rica’s most impressive primary rainforests. Spend the night at Ríos Tropicales Lodge.vOLCANO


Day 3: Spend day 2 of your rafting adventure finishing the adrenaline packed Pacuare river and return to San Jose via the Braulio Carrillo National Park and Irazú Volcano. Stay at the Grano de Oro Hotel.


Day 4: Private Transfer up into the mountains and through the rainforest until the cone shape of one of the world’s most active volcanoes appears in front of you. Stay at the Arenal Springs Hotel. Situated at the foot of the Arenal Volcano these private bungalows have direct volcano views and private porches to watch the volcano glow at night.


Day 5 : Are you ready for today’s hike of the volcano and then the afternoon in the natural hot springs of the Arenal Volcano? Hike a 20 minute trip to the far west side of the Arenal Volcano, where you spend about one hour exploring the Silencio Trail. The naturalist guide will help you find animals and indigenous rain forest plants. Then soothe those muscles with an afternoon in the hot springs followed by a buffet dinner. Stay at Arenal Springs.


Day 6: Spend the day resting and relaxing, this is about the only day of rest you will get!! Stay at Arenal Springs.Islita, living in the lap of luxury. Spend time relaxing by the pool, or on the private and very secluded Pacific beach.

Day 7: Wake and smell the coffee as you about to do some canyoning today. After breakfast put some loose clothes on as you begin your adventure with a 30-minute 4×4 ride into the rainforest. Next trek through the forest on magical trails that lead to some of the most spectacular waterfalls in Costa Rica, a place very few people get to experience. Begin rappelling to the bottom of a 350-foot canyon, through 3 waterfalls and one rock dry face. You may spot wildlife such a monkeys, sloths, and tropical birds. Stay at Arenal Springs.


Day 8: Private Transfer to Tamarindo where you will descend on the beach plains of Guanacaste. Arrive in Tamarindo after a scenic drive and stay at the Capitan Suizo.


Day 9 : Wake up refreshed in one of Costa Rica’s best adventure locations. Get acquainted with the area and explore the beaches in the morning. In the late afternoon board a yacht as you take a cruise as the sun sets. You will the opportunity to see whales, dolphins, turtles and other marine life. Tamarindo has some of the best nightlife in the area with restaurants and bars everywhere. Stay at Capitan Suizo.


Day 10: Wake up Tarzan!!! Today you will flying through the rainforest canopy, seeing it the way it should be seen. Take the Canopy Combination Buena Vista Tour, ride zip lines through the top of the rainforests canopy with expert instructors and see the rainforest like never before. After the canopy tour, enjoy the 420 meter water slide and revive yourself with a typical Costa Rican lunch. Then enjoy a 45 minute guided horseback ride through the forest to the relaxing hot springs, where you will get the chance to apply a natural mud mask rich in minerals. Day 11: Spend the morning getting over yesterdays Tarzan impersonation, because in the afternoon you will be whisked off on an ATV adventure along the gold coast of Guanacaste. Follow paths through the forest to the golden beaches south of Tamarindo such as Avellanas, Playa Negra, Lagartillo, and more. Look for families of howler monkeys, eagles, and tropical birds. Stay at Capitan Suizo.


Day 12: Your last day at the beaches should be enjoyed in comfort. Spend the day sat in a boat on the Palo Verde National Park Tour. Explore Guanacaste’s phenomenal Palo Verde National Park. Travel along the deep slow moving Bebedero River by boat. You will get to see a fabulous array of birds and exotic animals such as howler monkeys, green iguanas, coatis, and crocodiles basking in the sunshine. Stay at Capitan Suizo.


Day 13: Transfer to Tamarindo Airstrip and take an afternoon flight to San Jose. Privately transfer to the Grano de Oro and spend your last night dining in San Jose.


Day 14: Privately transfer to San Jose international airport and have a safe flight home.
