Description – Nature Air are 1 of 2 Domestic airlines that we use for internal transfers here at Costa Rica Holiday. They have been operating for over 15 years and offer 76 daily flights to 15 destinations all over Costa Rica. Nature Airs hub is located in an area of San Jose, known as Pavas, which is just 5 miles west of the downtown area. The airport itself is called Tobias Bollanos, and is very easy to find.

Nature Air are dedicated to providing a top service and will happily assist disabled passengers onto the plane. Baggage allowance for Nature Air flights is 30ibs per person for checked baggage. Any baggage that exceeds this weight limit will only be flown subject to available space and will be charged at a rate of $1US per pound over. The planes do not feature over head bag storage, so only small bags, laptop bags etc can be carried into the cabin.

For safety reasons, the following items cannot be carried on the plane in hand luggage: Toy or replica guns (plastic or metal), Catapults, Household cutlery, Knives with blades (of any length), Paper knives, Razor blades, Tradesmen’s tools, Darts, Scissors, Knitting needles, Sporting bats, Billiard, snooker, pool cues, Hypodermic syringes. Syringes may be permitted, ONLY if a passenger has a medical need to administer themselves an injection during the flight. If this is the case a doctors note will be needed and carried with them at all times.
