This family holiday to Costa Rica offers an even mix of adventure, wildlife, and relaxation.
 
On this Costa Rica holiday, you’ll explore the mountains and beaches of Costa Rica.
 
You’ll arrive in San Jose with your family and we’ll meet you direct off the plane.
 
After helping you through customs and immigration, we’ll take you to your first hotel in the Central Valley just 30 minutes from the airport to rest after your flight. The following morning, we'll pick you up in a private transfer and take you to La Paz Waterfall Gardens and Poas Volcano. We'll then drive you onto your Arenal Volcano and rainforest hotel, Lomas Del Volcan.
 
You'll spend 3 nights here, white water rafting through the rainforest, hiking the volcano national park and enjoying the volcanic thermal hot springs
 
You'll then take a boat across lake Arenal to Monteverde cloud forest, where you'll spend 3 nights at Hotel Poco a Poco. Here you'll enjoy a tram over the cloud forest, walk along the cloud forest hanging bridges and then one of the best ziplines in the country! Enjoy a night hike through the cloud forest reserve. 
 
You'll spend a your next 4 nights at Shana hotel, where the rainforest meets the ocean. You'll see monkeys in the trees! The hotel has direct beach access
 
Spend your days here exploring the waterfalls, surfing and take you for a tour with a naturalist guide through the famous Manuel Antonio National Park. You'll see sloths, birds, owls, monkeys, crabs, and other tropical animals.  While here you'll also take a snorkeling trip to view sea horses, turtles, and tropical fish.
 
If you haven't had enough of the rainforest yet, hold on!
 
We'll pick you up from Shana and take you further south into some deeper forests where you'll take a boat through the mangroves to arrive at your Osa Peninsula hotel, Aguila de Osa! This is one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet, where you'll find the likes Bear Grylls and David Attenborough.
 
Have you camera ready here and expect to see more wildlife than you have so far throughout this entire holiday.  Scarlet macaws, sloths, monkeys, whales, dolphins, and many other species of birds and insects.  If you're lucky you might glimpse a jaguar!

All good things must end and after your stay in in the Osa, it’s time to go home. Take a local flight back to SJO airport to meet your departure flight back home!
