It’s a Jungle Out There

From £2,250.00 per person

14 Days

Looking for adventure, exploration, wildlife, and relaxation in your Costa Rica family holiday?

This package will provide all that.

Our “It’s a Jungle Out There” package allows you to explore some of the most beautiful parts of Costa Rica while staying in authentic lodging.

When you arrive in San Jose, we’ll meet you as soon as you step off the plane.  We’ll guide you through customs and immigration and then to your first hotel, the Hampton Inn, to get a good night’s rest.

After breakfast the next morning we’ll drive you through the mountains and onward to La Fortuna.

Here, you’ll check into the Lomas del Volcan Hotel, at the foot of the spectacular Arenal Volcano for three nights.

The Arenal Volcano area is the adventure capital of Costa Rica. While here we’ll have you trekking through the rainforest and taking an aerial tram through the canopy treetops. Keep your eyes peeled for sloths, monkeys, and birds! You’ll also get to enjoy a relaxing stop at some natural hot springs heated by the volcano.

After your three nights in Arenal, it’s time to visit the renowned Manuel Antonio National Park on Costa Rica’s Central Pacific coast.

Here, you’ll have three nights staying at the gorgeous Tulemar Resort.

Tulemar is not your typical resort. They set the units within the rainforest and the hotel has many swimming pools and access to a pristine beach.

You’ll enjoy a guided walk through Manuel Antonio National Park and a kayaking tour through the local mangroves while staying at Tulemar. Both tours will teach you about the rainforests and you might well get to experience sloths, monkeys, lizards, and snakes!

It’s now time to head deeper into the rainforest and stay in a luxury tent at the Rafiki Safari Lodge for two nights.

You will fall asleep and awake to the sound of the jungle at Rafiki.

While here you can organise your own tours. Activities at Rafiki range from rafting to horse-riding to jumping into waterfalls.

South from Rafiki, you’ll find the Osa Peninsula, one of the planet’s unique places, and your final destination in Costa Rica.

They say that over three percent of the world’s biodiversity is in the Osa Peninsula, remarkable given its tiny size.

Here you will stay at Aguila de Osa - one of Costa Rica’s best ecolodges - for three nights. Aguila de Osa is a great base for exploring the pristine rainforests of Corcovado National Park and snorkeling at the offshore Caño Island.

Expect to experience dolphins, whales, tropical fish galore, tapirs, monkeys, sloths, and more. If you’re very lucky, you might - just might - see a jaguar. You’ll get to feel like David Attenborough, regardless.

Once you’ve spent three nights in this magical place, it’s time to leave. After checking out of Aguila de Osa, you’ll fly back to San Jose for your evening flight back home.
